I am writing this letter with the hope that someone out there can give a fellow brother a helping hand. I am a Police Officer and a veteran of the Gulf War. I am drowning in bills right now. I had shoulder surgery in December last year and I have been out of work for three months. Unfortunatley for me, my injury happened while off duty so I had to use up all my sick days and vacation days. I am still short on covering all the time I had to take off. I was out from the 12/15/06 until 3/17/07. I just recently got cleared for full duty again so I am working all the extra hours I can to keep my head above water.
What I need right now is either any kind of financial donation that anyone can spare or information on a financial institution that will help me consolidate 30,000.00 dollars in debt to one payment that I can make every month to help me get on my feet again.
